STIHL MS 881 petrol chainsaw, without guide bar and chain

The STIHL MS 881 is a powerful professional chainsaw for felling and cross-cutting large timber and use on compatible LOGOSOL sawmills. Its 121.6 cm³ 2-MIX engine delivers 6.4 kW. Guide bar and chain are not included. Supplied with a combination wrench and Estonian instruction manual. Equipment includes an adjustable oil pump, HD2 filter, stainless-steel muffler, quick-release engine cover, captive sprocket-cover nuts, anti-vibration system, decompression valve, ElastoStart and tool-free tank caps. Use compatible bars with a 3002 mount, .404″ pitch and 1.6 mm gauge, such as a 75 cm ES bar. Select RM, RS or RMX chains to suit the bar; an example is a .404″ RM chain, 1.6 mm gauge, with 91 drive links. Check permitted combinations and lengths in the manufacturer’s manual. FORESTPLUS and BIOPLUS chain oils, HP Super and HP ULTRA two-stroke oils and an MS 881 2-MIX service kit are available separately. For sharpening .404″ chains, use the appropriate 2-in-1 holder with 5.5 mm files; a .404″ depth-gauge tool checks the 0.8 mm setting for RM, RS and RMX chains.
