Spunbond outer and inner layers provide strength, while two middle meltblown layers form a microfibre network that filters dry particles. The blue coverall has a white triangular panel made from the same 54 g/m² SMMS fabric. Three-panel hood, two-way zipper with storm flap, and elasticated waist and ankles support fit and coverage. Antistatic properties to EN 1149-5 help reduce charge build-up; EN 1073-2 concerns radioactive particulates, not shielding against radiation. Specialist fabric treatment provides limited flame-spread resistance to ISO 14116 Index 1; this applies to the fabric, not all components. Where flame resistance is needed, wear over Index 2 or 3 FR clothing and never next to the skin. This is a supplementary layer, not primary heat or flame protection. Assess chemical compatibility for the actual substance using the manufacturer instructions.
